John Gorka is a funny and intelligent songwriter and a real treat to see. He may be best known for being the writer of "I'm from New Jersey." But I also loved "St. Caffine" about his drug of choice.

His guitar playing was very nice and while he presented the songs with humor it was not comedy. The songs are character studies. He was great on stage very comfortable with the audience and humor. Check out "Jack's Crow."
